Preparing Students to Become Young Entrepreneurs, EDC Udayana University Holds a Workshop

The Entrepreneurship Development Center (EDC) of Udayana University held a Workshop on Preparing a Business Plan and Proposal for the 2019 Indonesian Student Business Competition (KBMI) in the Hall of Postgraduate Building, Sudirman Campus. The workshop, which lasted for 2 days on 27-28 April 2019, is open to students from all faculties in Udayana University. Until the first day of this workshop, 210 students had registered as participants. 

This event was held to prepare students to participate in the 2019 Indonesian Student Business Competition, which was held by the Directorate General of Learning and Student Affairs. Through this event, students are invited to become students who are smart in the academic field and independent in entrepreneurship. 

On the first day of the workshop, students were taught how to make and compile a business plan, while on the second day, students were invited to upload their proposals to the business competition jointly. 

The Chancellor of Udayana University, Prof. Dr. dr. A.A Raka Sudewi, Sp. S (K) gave his appreciation for this activity. According to her, this is an effort to prepare students to have an entrepreneurial spirit, and after graduating, they are expected to become successful entrepreneurs. 

Meanwhile, the Chairman of EDC Udayana University, Dr. Sagung Chandra Yowani, S.Si., A.Pt., M.Si hopes that after graduating from college, students will be able to create their own jobs, become independent scholars, and have leadership abilities.
